Entering the Morvan, situated just 15 km from Vezelay and 45 km from Chablis, sitting between the Canal du Nivernais and the river Yonne, is the charming village of Châtel-Censoir. Overlooked by the prominent XII century Saint Potentien Cathedral – the resounding heartbeat of the village – the charming river port lined by numerous alleyways. The cottage Joli began as a nineteenth century winery, with gardens front and back. The house was completely renovated and awarded 3 “Gîte de France ears” in 2014. Ideally located at the heart of the village, this idyllic retreat is within easy walking distance of the Thursday market as well as all local amenities.

Its ample accommodation comfortably accommodates up to eleven people in either summer or winter.

The cottage briefly consists of a large kitchen-dining room and a living room on the first level, five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a shower and two toilets over the second level and attic. Well appointed throughout with Free Internet (wifi) access.
